About Me

I'm a software engineer and AI developer passionate about building intelligent systems that solve real-world problems. Currently a second year pursuing my degree in Computer Science at York University, where I am maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA (EECS).

My journey in tech has been driven by curiosity and a love for creating impactful solutions. From developing LLM-powered applications to building scalable backend systems, I thrive on tackling complex challenges and turning innovative ideas into reality.

When I'm not coding, you'll find me exploring the latest advancements in AI, contributing to open-source projects, or working on my startup Studia, where we're revolutionizing the educational experience with AI-powered tools.

I believe in continuous learning, clean code, and building products that make a difference. Let's create something amazing together.

Goals & Reflections

11 / Career Goals

🎯 Current & Future

Now

  • Build and scale AI automations at EdVisingU AI, turning manual effort into efficient systems and repeatable income streams.
  • Drive the technical roadmap and ship the Studia MVP to early users.
  • Sustain academic excellence (4.0 GPA) while exploring advanced tech opportunities, dominating competitive hackathons, and mentoring junior Lassonde cohorts.

Future

  • Scale Studia into a market-dominant platform that redefines digital education.
  • Master the frontier of Generative AI and Agentic Workflows to architect the next wave of automation.
  • Lead as a Technical Founder at the Sovereign Core of the next tech curve, engineering systems where unbreakable logic meets ethical resilience.
12 / Philosophy of Learning

πŸ“– Learn by Doing

  • To me, learning is the process of achieving sovereignty over complexity. Theory is the starting line, but late-night refactors and watching users interact with a feature you built are where the Technical Absolute is born.
  • My philosophy is to build at the edge of failure. Leading R&D at a fast-paced AI firm and co-founding a startup forced me to adapt faster than any lecture could. If a project does not challenge your limits, it is not a learning opportunity, it is just a routine.
13 / Reflection on Growth

πŸ“ˆ From Theory to Practice

  • Breaking into the high-stakes AI ecosystem as a second-year student required a transformation in technical maturity. I proved that velocity, not just tenure, is the true currency of engineering.
  • I transitioned from a novice unfamiliar with professional Git workflows to an engineer spearheading enterprise R&D. Architecting the Firebase Remote Config system for Pitstop redefined my mindset from contributor to Sovereign Architect.
  • Bridging the zero-to-one creation of Studia with the rigorous precision of Pitstop gave me a rare dual perspective: rapid startup iteration fused with Zero-Failure reliability for production-ready AI.

Experience

Building production systems and leading teams across AI, backend development, and startup innovation.

Apr 2026 - Present
  • Designed and deployed AI-driven automation workflows using tools like openClaw, Claude, n8n, and API integrations to streamline lead generation, content distribution, and marketing operations
  • Built end-to-end automation pipelines that reduced manual workload and improved operational efficiency across the digital education ecosystem
  • Researched and validated scalable AI monetization systems, including automated funnels, digital product workflows, affiliate infrastructure, and newsletter growth strategies
  • Developed structured, maintainable systems for repeatable execution, enabling rapid testing and iteration of new business ideas
  • Collaborated on building AI-powered systems to support EdVisingU’s growth, focusing on scalability, reliability, and low-touch operations
Jan 2026 - Apr 2026
  • Spearheaded platform scalability initiatives by leading the R&D and implementation of Firebase Remote Config, engineering an admin-controlled dashboard that successfully eliminated all hard-coded feature flags
  • Achieved the highest ticket completion rate among the intern cohort, rapidly investigating and resolving critical production bugs tracked via Sentry and User requested feature implementation
  • Fortified system reliability and data integrity by significantly expanding unit and end-to-end test coverage across core platform domains (Foundation, UI components, VRMS, and Modals), ensuring seamless data flow between decoupled UI components.
  • Optimized full-stack platform functionality by refactoring backend API endpoints for accurate CSV data extraction across enterprise asset management pages, and building responsive, high-performance UI features (horizontal sticky scrolling, advanced filtering) for clients like Tim Hortons.
Oct 2025 - Present
  • Co-founding an early-stage AI study and wellness platform, defining product vision and shaping the technical roadmap
  • Building core backend services and REST APIs with FastAPI, PostgreSQL to support adaptive study experiences
  • Develop interactive Next.js frontend with 3D visuals and responsive design using Tailwind CSS, iterating on user-driven prototypes
  • Supporting early-stage operations by researching strategies to enable team collaboration and guide MVP development
Oct 2025 - Present
  • Mentored team on idea validation, technical feasibility, and project planning to build an executable solution
  • Checked in regularly, provided feedback, and supported problem-solving, helping the team iterate and improve their project
  • Helped foster collaboration, encouraged creative thinking, and contributed to the team winning at UNHack 2025

Working with Muhammad was an awesome experience overall. He took the initiative on some meaningful problems. One that stood out was his work with Firebase Remote Config. He came with a plan, thought it through, and delivered something the team actually used. He's communicative and picks things up quickly. Day-to-day, he was easy to work with, asked questions when he needed to, and got on with it when he didn't. I'd highly recommend him and wish him all the best in his next opportunities.

I worked alongside Muhammad for about 3 months, he quickly adapted to the work environment despite operating system setbacks, showing technical literacy. Whether he was assigned a minor or major role, he was enthusiastic. He was very responsive to feedback, and has the ability to communicate his reasoning, the processes taken, and how he will improve implementations. He is a great communicator and fits in like a natural member of the team.

I had the pleasure of working with Muhammad during his co-op term, and he made a strong impression from day one. He was highly attentive, worked quickly and effectively, and consistently delivered quality work. A strong quality that stood out was his ability to take on feedback thoughtfully and apply it right away, while also contributing his own ideas and perspectives. He struck a great balance between learning and adding value to the team. I’d happily recommend Muhammad and look forward to seeing how he continues to grow in his career.
